Etienne Rey's objective is to approach our world under a phenomenological angle in order to reveal the principle of coexistence. His work investigates relations of visible light and our invisible environment. These interrelations base themselves on the purely physical spectator presence, as well as the action which he/she is going to produce to cross material and immaterial dimensions.
New creation of the Diffractions series specially designed for Illuminations, AIR reacts to public movements by kaleidoscopic clearance of its multitude of suspended helixes. And to enclose the route by a real SPACE ODYSSEY [video], visitor will be invited to dive into a foggy world filled with light beams.
